Work Request from the user department. The categories of Work Request include Preventive

· Tracking of spare parts for maintenance
· Emergency maintenance
· Costing of maintenance
· Creation of work order
· Request for spares for preventive maintenance as well as for damages
· Preparation of purchased orders for non stock items.
· Automatic generation of operations required for standard jobs.
· On line updation of inventory for issues and new purchases.
ENQUIRIES AND REPORTS
· Preventive maintenance due for a particular machine.
· Details of repairs carried out on machines.
· Spare consumption by machine.
· Details of executed jobs done during preventive maintenance.
· Number of machines on maintenance in the plant.
· Actual time and allotted time for each work order.
· Problems occurred with each machine.
· Expenses incurred by each machine for repairs
· Status of the work order
· Details of damaged machines so that the management can take decision of dispositing
inefficient machines.
